International students who are studying in China must hold student visa, in China, if you have student visa, it is not allowed to do any social work. And it is illegal,if policemen find any students doing any job with student visa, he or she must get a fine or punishment. So if you are a student in China, doing a job is not acceptable.

But if you are an internship student, that means you have to do work in the hospital or company, university will apply a special permission for you, they will do an annotation on the student visa.
